Mental Health Support for Players and Families

There has been a lot of discussion recently within District B about mental health and support for our players and volunteers. It is important that we be engaged and involved but as we are not all experts, we need to know where and how to support people who will most likely want to access services and maintain privacy.   
 
In Ottawa, we are lucky in that many of our members have access to experts and resources via employee benefits and all Canadians have 24/7 access to the Wellness Together Portal (links below).

We also have access to Safe Talk sessions through HEO for players over 15 yrs of age.
