Ottawa Sting Major Bantam Support MTK Family

Prior to the game on December 5, 2019 between the Ottawa Sting Major Bantam B team and the Mississippi Thunder Kings, the coach of MTK reached out our Sting Coach to let him know that MTK would be wearing pink jerseys in support of one of their players as his mom was going in for breast cancer surgery that day.

The Sting team management quickly organized  themselves to tape our team's sticks pink in support of the MTK hockey family. Upon seeing this, the MTK coach asked if a picture could be taken of both teams prior to the game.

The resulting picture is a great example of how valuable sport and hockey is for our communities. #FightCancer #HockeyIsFamily #RespectInSport
