Share Opportunity for Volunteer Hours
2020-02-11
The City of Ottawa Ringette Association (CORA) is hosting the Canadian Ringette Championships April 5 - 11, 2020. They are anticipating close to 1000 athletes and bench staff, together with family and friends to attend this event.
They will be running six pads of ice, approximately 14 hours per day for 5 days before the gold medal games on April 11. Round Robin games will be played at Peplinksi, Richcraft Sensplex and Bob McQuarrie. The gold medal games on April 11 will be held at the Arena at TD Place, at Landsdowne Park.
With a minimum of 4 people in the box for each game, it adds up to a lot of required volunteer hours. If you would like to help out our local ringette association, please cut and paste the following link through InitLive to sign up for volunteering: (ages 14+ - volunteer hour sheets for high school students will be signed.)
