U11B - Introduction to Tryouts

Start Date: The U11B tryout series has recently been posted on the Sting website, scheduled to start on Tuesday, September 2^nd with goalie evaluations.  Skater evaluations start on Wednesday, September 3^rd.  More information related to jersey assignments and the format of the tryouts will be circulated via email in the coming days.

Tryout Jerseys: For the entirety of the tryout series, your player will be identified by their tryout jersey number. Please ensure that you have a white and black tryout jersey with matching numbers and check in with me at the arena when you arrive for tryout sessions to ensure that Sting has the correct number for your player. If you ordered new jerseys through the online registration process, they can be collected from me at the first tryout session. 

Goalie Evaluation Sessions: Goalies are asked to attend the evaluation session on Tuesday, September 2, - 6pm at TD Place, in addition to the other scheduled tryout dates.

Volunteers: We are seeking volunteers to support the tryout process.  Volunteer assignments will include trainers (with appropriate certifications), and parents willing to be behind the benches to swing doors for the intrasquad games.  If you are interested in being a volunteer, please let me know via email and we will discuss specific dates/times.

While tryouts can be a stressful time, the process is meant to place every player at the proper level for their development. It is important that your player is well rested and hydrated for them to perform at their best
