U9 Tryout Session 3 and Volunteers Needed!

Tryouts continue tomorrow, Sunday Sept. 7^th , Carleton University, 10am-12pm – with  half ice games.  Because of taking on and off the boards and warm up, the games themselves will only be 1.5 hours.

All kids will be playing at the same time on half ice, divided into four teams so everyone is to arrive for the start time. Kids will have a 10 minute break half way through. 
 
We ask that kids arrive 45 minutes in advance and are ready to go 10 minutes prior to ice time. I’m going to remind parents to avoid the changerooms – your child can come out to get their skates tied if necessary. 
 
There are a few players who will sit out tomorrow. These players are still expected to show up 15 minutes prior to ice time, wearing their Ottawa Sting practice jersey over their street clothes. We ask that these kids do not go in the changerooms or interact with the players.  Please sit in the stands and watch your team mates. Your behaviour on and off the ice are equally important. 
 
**We need volunteers – very important – we need at least four parents who are willing to come with their skates and helmets to put the boards on and off. This is very important. Please reply and let me know if you are able to help. We will also need 2-3 parents without skates helping with the boards.
 
We will also need at least one trainer or if the two trainers want to be on call for the half the game - I will let you work it out.

**We need three volunteers for the doors during the games. We ask that three of the parents whose children are sitting please volunteer. 
 
No coaching on the bench please. 
 
Goalie evaluations will also take place tomorrow afternoon, Sept. 7^th, 2pm-3pm at Carleton U, Arena A. Goalies will also be evaluated during the games. 
 
Reminder to make sure that you child's jersey number is visible so no tucking in jerseys, etc.

First releases will be communicated by email by 9pm tomorrow. If for some reason we can’t communicate releases by then, we will let you know.
