Congratulations to the Ottawa Sting U13AA, who won their first tournament, the Belleville PreSeason Tilt.
Ottawa defeated last year’s top ranked provincial team (Whitby Wildcats) 2-0 in the final. The semi final was an exciting 4-3 OT shoot-out win over the talented Eastern Ontario Cobras.
Team effort was the story of the weekend. Facing great competition, Sting U13AA allowed only 5 goals in 6 games with 3 shutouts.
